About Al Diaz
Al Diaz, born and raised in the vibrant and culturally rich Lower East Side of New York City to Puerto Rican parents, became a pioneering figure in the graffiti art scene by the age of 15, known famously as "BOMB-ONE." His collaboration with high school friend Jean-Michel Basquiat on the SAMO© project in the late 70s marked a pivotal moment in Avant-garde graffiti, making a lasting impact on the art world.

Radix MTL 2019: Art in the City
On November 19, 2019, Arte Cavallo proudly presented Radix MTL: Art in the City, an inspiring evening celebrating art, creativity, and community—all for a meaningful cause. Featuring a talented lineup of artists, the event brought together over 150 attendees to support the Montreal Children’s Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Clinic.
The evening was filled with connection, generosity, and the shared goal of making a difference through art. Thanks to the incredible artists and guests, Radix 2019 became a true celebration of Montreal’s vibrant art scene and its power to give back.
Ferrari & Art: A Celebration of Legacy
On July 4, 2021, we hosted an unforgettable red-carpet event celebrating Ferrari’s timeless legacy and the unveiling of a remarkable artwork featuring Scuderia Ferrari Club Montreal’s President Ernesto Anelli. Part of the exclusive ‘Ferrari in Art: The Sporting Legacy’ collection by Mark Dickens and Keith Sutton, the piece honored Ernesto’s heartfelt contribution alongside quotes from F1 legends like Sir Jackie Stewart, Toto Wolff, and Sebastian Vettel.
With Ferraris lining the entrance, music in the air, and prosecco in hand, guests experienced the magic of Formula 1 and fine art. After the outdoor unveiling, intimate gallery tours led by founder Sandy Cavallo brought the evening full circle, celebrating art, speed, and passion
